Scalp Micro-pigmentation (SMP) is a procedure similar to eyebrow microblading, the difference is in the method of deposition of pigment. Microblading uses specialized blades and is manual method while in micropigmentation electric tattoo machine is used. This is because more power is needed for scalp penetration as compared to other areas like face and eyebrows.

1. Consultation-

2. Cleaning of Scalp

 Before beginning of procedure, scalp will be cleaned with disinfecting agents such as savlon and betadine.

3. Marking the Area

 Desired area of treatment is marked. It is very important step in the procedure and you need to actively participate at this stage. You can change design and markings at this stage.

4. Local Anesthesia

 Now local anesthesia is given over the treatment area for a painless and smooth scalp micro-pigmentation procedure.

5. Micro-pigmentation

 Now with tattoo machine medical grade pigment is deposited in your scalp skin after careful selection of pigment color with help of very fine tip needle.

6. Cleaning the treated area.

 After the procedure is completed the excess pigment is cleaned from your scalp and antibiotic ointment applied.

7. Repeat Session or Touch up

 In most patients 2-3 repeat sessions are required at an interval of 3-4 weeks to gain maximum benefits of procedure.
